Personally, I have a feeling that it's coming or it came from a variety of sources that included Iran. You have to account for the giant social services organization he set up to help his people and it receives substantial donations from local rich people down to the average dollar contribution by the poor folks. There are also huge Shiia ex-pat communities in Africa and the Americas doing very well financially and they must be contributing a lot. Your guess is as good as mine, I just added a few elements that you probably didn't know such as the ex-pats. He keeps repeating that he prays for the day he can put down his arms and divert all the tons of money spent on arms to better serve his people. I'm not one of his people but somehow, I believe him.
