Sami, perhaps there are many in Israel whose grandfathers were from the EU, but I'll bet your grandfathers were from Amman, Cairo or Damascus. If not yours, then many other grandfathers of Palestinians were. The trouble with your "you just moved here 3 generations ago" argument is that it cuts both ways, even though you rarely hear any Arabs acknowledging that fact. They don't call the place "the Crossroads of Civilization" for nothing. The reality is that you are going to have to live with the same reality you expect the Israeis to live with when it comes to you. You and they are there now, and no one is going away. The sooner you give up dreams of driving theminto the sea and focus on dreams of having and raising a family in peace, and on cooperation with Israel, the happier it will be for everyone. Get on with it. People may be cross with Israel for one thing or another, but they also tire of the non-stop terrorism your lot brings to the table, and their sympathies wane.
