Indeed, the West bank has at times been ruled by Jews, but at other times not. Who owned it before Abraham met with God? It has changed hands by right of conquest many times since then. It is the ownership that counts. Conquer the land, defend it and you own it.. The biblical part is moral but it is not ownership. Most of the US is on land it acquired by right of conquest from Indians and from Mexico. No one questions it but the Mexicans are taking it back slowly. If the Arabs had been successful they would have all of Israel by right of conquest and the Jews would be swimming.. Nothing the UN or the US (under Obama) says has any meaning. Israel holds the land now and they have held it since 1967 when they walked in as the Jordanians fled. So their last and most important claim to ownersip is by right of conquest. Who can take it away now? Certainly not the UN, or the Pals with their wet dreams. Certainly not Iran. Stick with right of conquest. It is the only thing that counts on this planet. Incidently I do plan to stay in the US. I had my shot at Israel when I was offered professorships at Hebrew Uniniversity and Technion. Not appealing! The US is much better, safer and just as Jewish.
