Occupation is not illegal. Israel was attacked and under international law is permitted to fight on the land of those who attacked it. The state that occupied those lands, Jordan, withdrew. Those are historically Jewish lands and during Arab control of those lands Jews were denied the right to worship at their holiest site. International law doesn't require that lands occupied in the manner Israel did be returned to a 3rd party. Moreover, there has to be a principle in international law to deter states from attacking other states. The calculation can't be permitted to be "if we win, we win and if we lose, we can't lose (other than ?meaningless? men)." As to bombing and behavior, get real Sam. Israel's behavior is about defending itself and citizens. Why shouldn't it bomb those that are trying to kill its citizens and or entities such as Hamas & Hezbollah, dedicated to its destruction but fighting surrounded by women and children? Israel?s duty is to protect its citizens. For Hezbollah Israel is a a means to an end, a fundamentalist state, where you could not post on the net.
