Sam you say the only solution is a one state solution, but that is unrealistic given the linguistic, religious and cultural differences between the two peoples. Israel has made it clear that with security guarantees it would leave most of the West Bank (apart from a few large settlement and Jersusalem)and has already left Gaza. If you have objections to the resulting state a confederation with Jordan makes sense, it is after all what happened before 1967.
