All in all, nothing too surprising. The have gots and the have nots. Hours have been slashed, teachers fired. The periphery has difficulties finding and keeping under-paid qualified teachers.In affluent communities, the parents make up the difference and supplement the cuts with gray education. It's all a matter of priorities. The government should put aside the rhetoric and truly put education as its number one priority.
