This is a nice bit of demagoguery. Rosa Parks was a victim of segration against her will, fighting for her freedom. Tanya Rosenblit is imposing her views on supposed victims, who chose to live by higher standards. She would not meet them if she did not go out of her way to do so. She is imposing her values on others against their will. She is not liberating anyone, she is looking for trouble. The very vast majority of Israelis have never seen a segregated bus and never will. Haredim, women and men, want this arrangement. It is insulting to Rosa Parks to mention her in the same breath as the troublemaker Rosenblit.

from the article: Will Tanya Rosenblit’s stand lead to the desegregation of ultra-Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem?
