We have a free press, we have just had a free election, which Israel and the US are trying to undo and undermine and corrode...even starve us in Gaza because we exercised our democratic right. Israel is the number one enemy of press freedom . I have been repeatedly questioned and interrogated by Israel for writing "non-conformist views." the Israeli KGB once instructed all newspapers in the West Bank not to publish my articles. As for aljazeera, you know the only danger facing its freedom is a distant country called the US, which contemplated bombing it and which also bombed its offices in Both Afghanistan and Iraq. Doens't the "free" American media enlighten you about all of this? Has the first Amendment been killed as well? Finally, with regard to these despotic Arab countries you are alluding to, the last time I checked, I saw that these dictatorial regimes are America's closes allies? Why doesn't America tell them to have a Glasnost...? So, who is the hypocrite Ro
