Hamas has understood the way to destroy the secular PA is via destroying the peace process as the entire legitimacy of that leadership is predicated upon the seccess of the peace process. Destroy one destro the other. They have created a perfect destructive symbiosis between the two. Next what does the leadership of the PA have to fall back on in the event of a failure of the peace process? Nothing!Their corruption stupidity has given the good government and socila services issue to Hamas as well. The Pa leadership is doomed both on international relations and domesticaly. Not since Lenin and the Bolsheviks has a party shown such ideological commitment and lucid understanding of how to destroy the order of things they are faced with. Hamas will surley win the battle for the PA, Abbas is doomed and the war will carry on. All Israel can do is defend from lines that conform to the broad international consenuse on the subject ie the Camp David lines.Let Hamas break theirheads on that.
