WE HAD LESS OF EVERYTHING BUT WE FELT BETTER BECAUSE WE ALL WERE IN THE SAME SITUATION. Congratulations I think you have just summed up the root cause of alot of the problems here ... POLITICS OF ENVY .. I am struggle to pay the rent and have to take 3 busses to work each day but Mr Cohen around the corner he has a very fancy car with leather seats and all the trimmings, he lives in a luxury apartment and wants for nothing. In the old days Mr Cohen was poor as well but back so we could be friends because there was no need to be jelous of him. Whilst some of these problems are based on legitimate concerns I think this thing has got out of hand and the problem with alot of these protestors have is the fact there are both rich and poor which isn't fair. At least if we are going to have poor lets all be in the same boat together that way it won't seem so bad. Israel has never had some kind of golden socialist age its had a time when we were all more equal because nobody had any real money to speak of today the economy is evolving because its being opened up to the free market and it is creating oportunitites which some people are taking and getting very rich but oportunity does not knock for everybody and so you also have people who have not benefitted as much from the economic reforms so they just see the rich and they see themselves thinking how unfair it is that rich Mr Cohen there has all those nice expensive things I could never afford.
