Typical ignorant remark. The leaders of the Wehrmacht (Oberkommandowehrmacht) wanted the transports stopped because they were using valuable rail transport which would otherwise have assisted in the defense of the German Army on the Eastern Front. Bombing the camps would have helped the German: war effort in several ways: the soldiers in them would have been released for front line duty, the valuable transport would have been released to support the army, and the energy used to maintain the extermination effort would have been more profitably used. Stopping the camps would have unquestionably lengthened the war.
