Bradley - I FULLY accept that this piece is well meant, well intended, and supported by what certainly appears to be heartfelt soul-searching on your part. Unfortunately, the problem you are addressing, in my humble opinion, is not "rabid pro-Israel at any costs", but extremism. The sentiments evoked in synagogues, and from the mouths of the self-styled defenders of Israel (at any cost), could JUST AS EASILY have come from a madrassah somewhere, or a minority mosque directed by an extremist mullah, and attended by so-called Muslims, who are propelled by the same hatred. The issue to be dealt with is human compassion and understanding. Criticizing or reprimanding the people you have identified will simply serve to strengthen their pathetic resolve and will reinforce the venom factor - just as it would with extremists anywhere - sadly......
