Dutch, It is meaningless to argue that Israel has "no right to exist". All States on this planet at all times are human creations, based, on a willingness to use force in their defence. Climatic computer studies show that an exchange of 100 nuclear weapons between India and Pakistan would destroy most of global agriculture due to upper atmospheric pollution for up to a decade - and hence wreck human civilisation . Wisely, the rulers of India and Pakistan have, despite bitter enmity, have set up a hotline to avoid accidental disaster. Such a development MUST be occur between the about-to-be nuclear state of Iran and Israel if catastrophe is to be avoided. How could a President of Iran,in a crisis, talk to the leader of a country whose right to exist he refuses to recognise? For 6 billion outsiders, avoidance of nuclear war is the overriding concern in considering the region- recognition of Israel by all is both pragmatic, and is a small price to pay, except for a fool or a knave.
