"Some are more equal than others" wrote George Orwell in Animal Farm. Israel must not think it is immune to the threat of racism. In fact it is articles like Mr. Arens' that keep us believing that Israel still could be a fullfledged democracy, because at the moment, frankly it is not. Israel is moving further and further away from Europe, from democracy and basic human rights. After Barak refused to give the Palestinians back their land (he 'offered' only 80% in Camp David of the 67 land, no international borders, without Jerusalem as its real capital, with great loss of water and agricultural land) Olmert wil not continue not talking to the Palestinians and annex parts of the Westbank. In Europe we know you are not talking because you don't want to give the Palestinians a viable state. It's a simple as that. And for those still hoping that Ariel or Ma'Ale Adumim will be recognized as Israel, get real: The USA will,Europe never will. Why don't you folks simply give back what isn't yours?
