UK has anglicanism as the official religion (and the monarch has to be anglican). Does the prevent equality for other religions? Sweden (and I believe most of the rest of Scandinavia) has a state religion of Lutheranism. Spain is catholic (as well as several other countries). Saudi arabia is moslem (and non moslems can't visit Mecca and Medina). Many moslem countries are officially moslem, with Sharia as the rule of the land. The proposed Palestine is for Palestinians only - no jews. Israel IS a Jewish state (BTW, I am completely secular), which means really one thing - the law of return. We have about 1.5 million non-jews, which have parliament members and ministers, so clearly they have officially full rights. In other to really end the conflict, Israel wants its adversary to concede the fact. Otherwise, it leaves an opening for farther demands.
