If Buddists converted to Judaism have a right to live in Palestine because of an ancient religious text, certainly those Palestinian refugees who were expelled from their homes and villages at gun point when Israel was created in 1948 have a strongr right to return to their homes in what is now Israel. This is a matter of right and wrong, not of politics. Even those who leave their native countries willingly have the right to return. Does the world have to create a specific set of laws for Jews? Doesn't the same universal human laws and norms that apply to all humanity apply to Jews as well? It is immoral for Jews to argue about this most axiomatic issue of right and wrong. Indeed, claiming that the refugees have no right to return flies in the most basic and fundamental principles of justice..even in Judaism.
