I bet if Israel was in the same situation that Egypt, the Arabs wouldn't have wanted to return to it. But they want to return to a rebuilt country. On the other hand, Jews who fled the Arab countries--who numbered more than the Palestinians at that time--don't want to return to their countries of origin though, according to the Palestinians, they have a right to return. Since I can't exercise that right because no Arab leader want Jews back in their country, the Palestinians can't either. If only the Israeli government remind the world of our (past) plight, world opinion would have been different.
