Israel as well as other Western Nations have come to the aid of other countries. In many such places, services were insufficient in dealing with catastrophe. Is that a valid excuse to deny them assistance? Your comments reveal a deep-rooted bias. While those officials responsible for these institutional shortcomings should be punished and/or dismissed from their posts, this is no reason to allow the PEOPLE of the country (not the government) to suffer.
