1. Israel has not ruled out a Palestinian state. Most Israelis want it. 2. The building is not illegal, it is disputed land. Jordan disowned it after making it Jew-free, but that does not make it "Palestinian Land". 3. Israel does not shoot rockets into civilians. That is what makes Hamas terrorist. Both Hamas and PA want Israel to disappear, but PA has acquired the knack of not attacking civilians for the moment. Anyway, the bid for statehood will be denied because the stated aim of both PA and Hamas is eradication of a UN Member State. Simple as that. Try getting a job as a teacher if you state that your dream is to kill a class of children. Same idea.
