Jack, you have just prooved my point. He gets a big income, YOUR shares MAY go up If and when he decides to sell. I don't think that he will ever sell his shares, his family lives well on his income. I believe that he's got a family that would also not sell the shares. So why buy the shares? Because they may go up?
