Why would you ever think that Iran would ever give nukes to terrorist fringe groups that can turn around and terrorize Iran? In addition, Iran has not invaded another nation in over 500 years - how is it that you feel that Iran getting nukes would be such a horrible event when its neighbor to the east, Pakistan (western ally), which supports the Taliban and houses Al Quaeda HAS NUKES - I would think that a country that protects a group of islamist that caused the most terrible attack on a western country in modern history having nukes being the most dangerous thing in the world - both of which hate Shitte Iran, making it even MORE critical the Iran arm itself for protection. Iran has a neighbor to its east Pakistan with nukes, north (Russia) with nukes, west (Israel) with nukes and is surrounded by the US (who not only has nukes but is the only nation to have use them) - it would be MAD for Iran to do otherwise
