Reuters is to the Islamic left of the BBC. There were no 'desecration of copies of the Koran by U.S. soldiers at Guantanamo bay', the korans were flushed down toilets by Muslim detainees hoping to cause havoc. The 'cartoon jihad' were orchestrated protests that showed how little respect Muslims have for Freedom of the Press in the West. Some of these cartoons were printed months earlier in Arab countries without protest. But trouble makers saw an issue to be exploited and did so. And with al-qaeda murdering civilians like they were less than cattle and executing anyone they don't like, the deaths of civilians by the US in pursuit of al-qaeda - none of which in this pro-terrorist article are actually substantiated, shows an overwhelming pro-al-qaeda position. To say Taliban were 'active' is to ignore criticism of Taliban forces which hide behind villagers when they are attacked by US forces. Reuters always avoids mentioning that.
