So we have the campaign to reelect Barak under way with Reuben as the Talkback contributor. All well and good except that Barak cannot shed what he was born with - his arrogance- precisely the arrogance that the IDF reflects in thwarting the democratically elected ministers of state. And I thought all else was just the mood we were in, just a phase that nation states go through - unceretainty, corruption, leaderless - and that it would pass and we would emerge strong and sure and ready for a new dawn. But instead it is clear that the one reliable factor- the IDF- has become as tainted too. What's left? Is there anyone out there who is clean and pure enough to lead us?
