The bureaucratic nightmare that follows returning to Israel is enough to put anyone off coming here. The government websites give information but not all the information so you complete forms, wait for hours at a ministry and are then told that the informaton you have need to be printed on different forms (as if it makes a difference). And the cycle continues. Cutting the over-stuffed bureaucracy by 50% would greatly ease everybodies lives.
