I see one potentially fatal flaw in this "reasonable" argument. Can we assume that Hizbollah is entirely under Syrian control, rather than Iranian? Can we assume, as Rom appears to do, that Hizbollah would ever agree to any "rules of war"? For bluntly put - what other "useful" options does Hizbollah have other than firing their rockets into our population concentrations? I haven't heard of any Hizbollah tank or infantry divisions, nor air-force that could or would take on the IDF???
