The israelis should better avoid blaming their botched military offensive on a neocon conspiracy. The initiative was theirs, as well as planning , and the israelis can stop it at any moment they wish. Importing this kind of paranoias ,very common across the border, is not smart. Rethinking Israel relationships with the neocons or christian right is much better idea. Why for example not to seek alliance with France whose FM a few days ago called Iran a stabilizing force in the middle east. An idea that the iranian president convincingly demonstrated the very next day by calling for Israel destruction as a solution to all ME problems. If we continue this way i think we should also consider an option of calling on el kaida to do some peace keeping in South lebanon. Why not ?
