Niall said, ?You can?t love someone into loving you.? Perhaps not, but can you conceive of loving someone into not hating you so badly they wish to destroy you? If not love, then would their tolerance be good enough, at least for starters? There have been times in the distant past when Jews, Moslems, Christians and others lived together in peace in the Middle East. If it?s possible once, it?s possible twice. Didn?t God say to Abraham in the beginning of Ch 12 of the Torah that his family shall be a blessing, and all the families of the earth shall be blessed by Abraham's family? Shlomo asked, ?Should we care for the world or for Israel?? Wouldn?t that part of Torah indicate that Israel is expected by God to do both? I understand humbly that what I am suggesting is not easy. But doing what is right and smartest sometimes isn?t easy. With respects, -Charlie
