Actually the S.Africans did resist and fight back against their oppression they plotted and conspired together and their information was so secretive among each other that the Afrikaners hired S. African spies who were paid handsomely and were a part of the black community. The S.Africans had a very specific response to traitors, they tied them to a post, put a tire around their neck, covered it in gas and lit it on fire. That should give you an idea to the level of resistance that existed in S. Africa. Also if a lack of violent resistance did not occur in other places of oppression the way they do in Palestine, that cant be held against the occupied. Compliance does not denote the lack of a crime by the occupiers.
