If you call civil war for 2 generations, religious war and unending political assassinations in your country a good model for democracy then I wish you the best. The southern and eastern parts of your country are still not under full control of the central government and one vicious militia rules there intent on taking over all of Lebanon. In an orderly even if somewhat flawed democratic country this does not happen, no matter the reasons. If it does then it is not a democratic country. For sure you will come back to say that foreign intervention caused all this but it has been with the active and willing massive participation of all Lebanese factions to exact ancient revenge from each other.
