Avrum, True Christianity has no holdings for Jerusalem. What we look towards is the New Jerusalem that is beyond this creation. However we honour it, if that is the correct expression, as the place where the Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and where He rose again, and, we honour it as the City of David, your capital. Like everything else on the last day it will be burnt as a scroll to be replaced by the New Jerusalem, the City of God. This great place is where all the Patriarchs are even now whilst waiting for the sound of the trumpets that announce its start. If Christ's kingdom were of this planet He certainly had claim to the throne of Israel through both his mother and stepfather but in His own words His kingdom is not of this world. Islam has no legal or spiritual right to Jerusalem. As to moral rights, since when has Islam had any of those?
