Although your ananlysis might offer you some emotional satisfaction, you simply have your facts wrong. If you knew anything about Hizbollah, you would know that they are hardly "ill-supplied" or "rag tag". They are superior to any army regiment in the Arab world and have been supplied with state of the art weapons by Iran (and Syria). In particular, their anti-tank missiles (responsible for the great majority of Israeli combat casualties)are the most technologically advanced on the planet. They also have had many years to dig in and plan this war, are fighting on their own terrain and most importantly, are hiding behind children. They shoot their rockets via remote control from garages, Mosques, schools...knowing full well that Israel's only military option in to hit back at the source of the attack. Nobody is going to "win" this mess. With 25 per cent of Lebanon's infrastructure in ruins already, Hizbollah's victory cheers seem a bit hollow.
