Israel's impotency is due to the need and wish to end all military conflicts (dream on as we say). The Palestinians, however, are not done yet - they haven't even started. When Ben-Gurion was negotiating he did it from a powerfull strategic position. For some reason the Israeli state is refusing to see the Palestinians as a strategic threat...Though they know that 50 Qassams a day on Tel-Aviv would impair the home front and lead to a certain feeling of despair. This situation put Israel in a an inferior strategic position hence the attempts for 'Peace' initiatives. Those initiatives off-course will fail cause the Arab stste know that Israel is trying to buy a cheap solution for its own strategic blunders in the last 10 years. In other words : as long as Israel cant define its long term strategic needs than Israel will be liable for defeat! wake up dudes!
