I cant think of any country where the leader will put his job on the line just do satisfy his enemies ( Abbas & Obama ). All politicians no matter what position they hold put their own job first. Bibis coalition will collapse if he agrees to a settlement freeze and that means a general election. If you were Bibi would you freeze settlements knowing that if you do then it will force a general election onto you that there is no guarantee your going to win? If there is an election there wont be talks anyway and there wont be any freeze. When the current freeze ends in October it will all start up again but we also won't have any talks going on. Also what happens if there is an election and whoever wins needs these same faces to form a coalition and their condition is no settlement freeze? Are we going to have another election and another one until somebody can put together a coalition that will allow for a settlement freeze?
