More than our conscience, let's be specific and look at some of the other things it is devouring as we speak. It is eating away at our education system, at our moral resistance to corruption, at our police force - focused as it is on security, to the detriment of crime and accident prevention - and our ability to think objectively. And that's not the half of it.
