All religons and all fanatics want control of whatever country they live in. That is why the United States Constitution has the First Amendment. The autors had had enough of religous turmoil. In fact, one of the main early reason for comming to the "New World" was to flee Religous persecution. The US Constitution will not be amended to remove the right of freedom of religon. It does not matter how much any side wants to convert Americans or to protect Americans from others' religon. We are free to tell others about our religon and they are free to disregard our efforts. That is what Freedom of Religon means.
