Somebody needs to do a deeper study into the religious vs. secular donations. A lot of religious people give to religious charities and to their houses of worship. It's not really charity in my book if they donate money so that these charities can use it to proselytize in the same way as donating money to your favorite political cause is not a humanitarian donation, either. We need a new study that directly checks how much money is being donated by people for humanitarian purposes only. When it was done in the US, secular people won.
