I agree with what has been said above by Hal. It seems pretty clear to me that Judaism in its present form - a distinct religion integrated into the larger world - will not exist in 100 years. The religious withdraw into their bible world, the seculars don't reproduce, don't observe, don't transmit the tradition, and marry away from the religion. Except in degree of violence and in numbers, I see little difference between Orthodox Jewish fanatics and radical muslim fanatics. Both hate those who do not belong to their sect, both abuse women's rights, both have masses of restive men undersexed men they manipulate, both are economically and intellectually bankrupt except for outside money. Both will end up destroying the societies that have permitted them to exist.
