Hezbollah's leader will either crawl out from his dusty underground bunker or from his pristine executive suite at Beirut's Iranian embassy to proclaim victory as soon as possible if the ceasefire takes effect and when Israel withdraws. Israel will be powerless initially to nail him as no IAF overflights of Lebanon will be permitted. Any covert operation on his life will be seen as Mossad's involvement and the ground rules will have been broken. Hezbollah will return to all its south Lebanon cities in the guise of civilians and will fairly easily re-establish themselves in a clandestine manner around the international forces. What is a good solution other than a regime change in Syria and Iran? These are trying times for all of us but I still see Israel standing as a nation no matter what moves are taken in the future.
