To our big surprise we got the entire ticket price refunded by RyanAir without any problem. As one of our daughters in her second pregnancy had to undergo chemotherapy before the delivery, we wrote to RyanAir and asked to cancel our flight as we had no chance of leaving our daughter and we would like to return the tickets. RyanAir asked for a verification from the departement treating our daughter and shortly after submitting that, we had a very nice and positive letter agreeing to our request and the full fee has been refunded via our credit card. We are greatful that such circumstances can be concidered and both parties satisfied. Also El Al agreed to reimburse us returning their tidkets except for a small cancellation fee of US$50 instead of US$150.
