To Mark: Should the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of several million Germans displaced at the end of WW II have the right to return to Poland, Czeck Republic, and other states that evicted them? How about Hindus to Pakistan, or Muslims to India? At what point do we recognize that in the case of Israel as with other states, the wrongs of six decades ago may be subject to compensation, but they can't be rolled back without creating equally onerous wrongs in the present.
