More than 2 million US Jews are reform. In the US, there is virtually no such thong as a 'secular' Jew. Jews are designated by there Religious affiliation and 'secular' Jews are not affiliated with anything. The reform movement allows Jews to live a secular life without sacrificing a sincere belief in monotheism and one God. While, the Reform movement in the US is young in terms of Jewish history, it has a long history in terms of the US, dating to the Enlightenment in the late 1700s, right after the birth of the USA. Consequently, if Israel will fulfill it's aim of in-gathering the Jewish people, Reform Judaism will have to be recognized. If the Ortodox feel that it is a threat to believe in God without accepting every side note and commentary of the Mishnah, then so be it. Eventually, a large portion of Israeli Jews will be descended from American reform Jews. Then, the next party, the next Yisrael Beiteinu will be American Jews demanding the right to marry.
