As an environmentalist I consider the thumbs up by the World Bank to be great news. Jordan's expanding population is water starved and there will be worse than riots there is water is not soon made available. Damage to the Dead Sea cannot be worse than what we are doing to it now. So what if algae will grow in the water? So what if tourism is damaged? Water is worth more than all that. We must have water and you can't kill the Dead Sea!
