In one stroke, Israel is freed from the Frankenstein of the settler movement. Likewise, kicking and screaming, it will enter the operation room, where it will be surgically separated from the "shtachim" the West Bank, along the pre 1967 lines with land swaps and adjustments (Brazil and Argentina declared that it will happen according to what the parties decide). So the right-wingers, unable to do anything constructive in government, are receiving a God-given present: peace and an end to occupying the West Bank. The bone in everybody's throat is what to do with the Iranian foothold of Gazastan / Hamastan. That's a biggie. Although at least under the table, I would assume, Israel would get help from Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states, plus Tunis and Morocco, to overturn Hamas from the strip and place Fatah instead. It may be impossible, or very hard. It may require violence in an unprecedented scale. But getting the present of a Palestinian state bypassing Hanegbi, Begin, Lieberman, Netanyahu, Ovadia Yosef, and company, is Nes Gadol Hayá Pó 8A great miracle happened here) as the dreidels of Chanukkah in Israel say.
