    Is it possible that Hamas is really that naive? If the prisoners are of entirely Israeli choice, Israel will release those Israel chooses to release for Israeli purposes. The time to nail down a deal is before it is agreed, not in the middle of implementation. There has to be something Israel wants from Egypt for the rest of the deal anyway.
