This is nonsense. While it is true that Islamic extremists have attacked Christian minorities during recent periods of social upheaval ibn Egypt and iraq, these acts have no support among the overwhelming majority of citizens who have lived together amiably for centuries. Violence among various Muslim groups has been worse. As for Oren, he avoids mentioning the increased number of attacks on priests, seminarians and religious processions in Jerusalem's Old City, with these attacks carried out by young men from the yeshivot. The difficulty Christians seminarians have in getting visas to study in Israel or have them renewed. Speak to the indigenous Christian population in Israel and EJ, the Anglicans, the RCs, the Maronites, the Melkites, the Assyrians, the Armenians, speak to the Armenian Patriarchate and then publish an article on the results of those conversations instead of this propaganda from the likes of Oren. Israel is not in political or social upheaval like Iraq or Egypt but Christians yet Christians in Israel are not equal to Jews. As for Christians missionising to convert Jews in Israel, this is not permitted. Look to the agreement with the Mormons for that and the attacks by haredim on those protestant sects accused of converting Jews, look to what was done to the family of messianic Jews in Arad or some other town in Israel.
