"Are there better alternatives to a 50-year-old refueling plane, even if it has been renovated and improved?" Is that an hypothetical question? Who is he kidding? The writer must surely know that, currently, there is no alternative, replacement or equivalent whatsoever to the KC-135 refuelling aircraft nowhere in the world, at any price. I also have issues with the general tone of the piece that sounds a lot like the rantings of a thankless, unappreciative and very spoiled kid to me.
