I couldnt think of a worse outcome than "Judaism to become a civilization, comparable to the Chinese, Islamic,or European. ". If youare worried about growing intokerance and lack of demicratic ideals boy are you looking in the wrong plece,And as for chinese or islamic civilization that "include religions but extend beyond them in that they can also adopt and adapt other cultures and populations, and have a wider, universal reach, thus further extending their scope." I have literally no idea what she is talking about I couldnt think of 2 civilizations whose history has been more devoted to either cutting themselves from the universal of expanding to impose their civilization on others....ask a tibetan, or contemporary chinese dissident or non corformist maronite chrisitan from lebanon or egyptian copt. or a decidedly secular citizen of turkey, or a woman in saudi arabia.

from the article: 'In a single moment, I stopped being religious'
