israel has respected the egyptian peace treaty. israel returned all of sinai back to egypt in return for peace. that is the concept, land for peace. the palestinians are intent on gaining land, and then flooding the rest of the land with palestinian refugees, gaining recognition of their state (and demanding it be judenrein) but never recognizing israel as a jewish state. in that setting, i think its a pity that israel is only building in my. scopus. i think they should build and build and build until the palestinians understand that if they want whatever land is left for peace, they better mean it. this could have been over in 2000 but arafat chose to continue it, and the 'peace' circus has continued with abbas. when there are 2 million cockroach settlers in the west bank, the palestinians will understand what their continued refusal to drop unrealistic demands has done to them. and i for one wouldn't shed a tear. there are hundreds of thousands of square miles of arab states, and but for their hunger to destroy the only jewish state, the palestinians lost out on a few thousand more square miles.
