so you say that the palestinians say that it is not 'their responsibility', and 'none of their business' but at the same time, they refuse to recognize israel as a jewish state because it will "jeopardize the right of return". so which is it? because here is the bottom line for the resolution of this conflict: end of the settlements for the end of the right of return. both sides declare an end to settling their own people in the other's land, in essence, giving up their claim to that land. the majority of israeli jews, (at present) would be willing to end the settlement enterprise, and go to 1967 borders (plus minus 2-3% land swaps to match realities on the ground) if it resulted in a REAL peace.
