    It does sound a bit arrogant, as Stephen points out; but the guy is right. We all know that there are some settlements which are completely incompatible with a Palestinian State - hey, the people who set them up said that was why they were doing it. And Israel should be not just not building there but actually evacuating them. But we also know, if we live in the real world, that if we ever get a peace treaty, some settlements will go to Israel. If you want specific examples, look at places like Kfar Ruth or Maccabim. The trouble is the settler fanatics jump into every discussion and claim that places like Ari'el and Adummim are non-negotiable. Of course, accepting that means there will never be peace - and that suits the settlers fine. So they have to be faced down, and noone in Israeli politics has the guts to do that.
